Like yourselves I do not have health care coverage either. Haven't had for many years, so I, too, had great appreciation for this. Glad y'all liked it as well. :)
I am Canadian. I have medical insurance guaranteed by my country. my son had to have an emergency liver transplant due to a doctor's mistake. He had the transplant, spent 3 weeks in intensive care and 2 weeks in a step down unit. Another 3 months in the transplant ward until he was ready to go home. the approximate cost of such a stay and all the incidentals is approximately 1 million dollars. I was not bankrupted, and have continued to be a taxpaying, community minded citizen. heath is expensive, and worth the cost.,
linda-over here chances are he would not have gotten the transplant unless you had top of the line medical coverage. i lost medical insurance back in the 90's when the cost topped over $600 a month and the benefits went down. it went up 25% each year until i could no longer afford it. even with it, the deductibles were ridiculously high. here in the good old usa they've got us by the balls.
I sure appreciate your taking the time to share your thoughts. I may not always have time to respond or acknowledge them but I do read them all and highly value your presence here.

I posted this on my Facebook page for all to see. I hope everyone starts to think about this instead of following their "paid for" politicians.
